Born and raised in Kenya, Kambua is a gospel artiste in the world of afro-fused music. Kambua’s love for music was evident from a tender age and has developed into a career over the years. Kambua has worked as an actress for Heartstrings Ensemble in Kenya. She has also been the voice for commercials such as Delmonte, Mumias Sugar, and Sunlight. Before pursuing a solo career, Kambua worked as a background vocalist for various artists. In the summer of 2007 Kambua completed a performance program at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. In 2008 she completed a BA in music at Ambrose University College, in Calgary, AB- her major being classical voice. In 2009 Kambua was crowned FEMALE ARTISTE OF THE YEAR at the Groove Awards, held in Kenya. She also has been awarded the 2008 AFRO FUSION FEMALE ARTISTE OF THE YEAR. Kambua's long-term goals include being a humanitarian voice, for women and children.
